As I was saying goodbye to Dave (Megan's pops) on Saturday night he mentioned that one of the main reasons that Megan booked me was because of my sun-kissed images. If you were in Wisconsin this past Saturday, you know that it was most definitely not a sun-kissed day. I assured Dave that there was without a doubt, you would look at Megan & Allen's images and go, "hmph. I would have sworn that it was cloudy & drizzly". I mean, minus the wet ground & umbrella.. But you get the idea.
It wasn't all editing and good light picking finesse. I owe all the light and love in these images to Megan & Allen. Megan, probably a dozen times said, "We're married. I'm just SO happy". These two, even with the weather, chose joy. Chose love. Chose happiness. The reason that their day was so bright and vibrant was simply because these two radiated light.
Does that make any sense? I sure hope it does. But if you were at that wedding, I have a good feeling you're subconsciously shaking your head in a gentle, "YES".
& if you weren't there - Meet Megan & Allen. You're going to like them. A lot.
