In the moments after their first look they chatted, hugged, and genuinely soaked up their day. Why did I find this moment so magical? With the wind blowing (it was a blowing on Saturday) I could not hear an absolute thing.. BUT the magic reflected in their eyes. The love poured out, the joy savored, it was one of the most intimate and beautiful things I've witnessed on a wedding day.
Rose & Russell had me excited about their wedding from their Skype call. I vividly remember getting off Skype and immediately calling my mom. I had my fingers SO crossed that they would move forward with booking. It was during that initial consult that I could feel the love & excitement these two shared. Lucky for me, they ended up booking :)
Their wedding took place at the Monona Terrace. Which if you're from Madison, you know just how iconically beautiful this part of the city is. A rooftop affair with sunshine, a view of the lake, and the most beautiful glimpse of the Capitol building. It truly is one of my favorite places in the city.
A BIG congratulations Rose & Russell. Thank you for being a part of the Caynay Family <3
