I think in most industries you'll find opportunities (or they'll force your hand) in continuing education. Teachers have to take so many college credits each year (even at the preschool level), companies will send you on retreats. It's so easy though as a business owner to kick back and have the "if it's not broke don't fix it" mentality.. To slide through your natural ways and think you don't have any room for growth.
But I firmly believe that couldn't be farther from the truth. When you stop learning is when your business is going to hit a brick wall. Whether it's youtube, forums, taking an online course or attending a conference/workshop.. It's all these things that you can take beneficial pieces from (even if it's just a little bit!!). I was watching a Katelyn James webinar a few months ago on posing. I always thought I had a solid grip on posing but I knew that there was definitely some room for growth. I was getting what I needed but was lacking a good flow/process.
So I made the splurge and invested in her 6 week posing course. You guys. Life changing.
First off, she's a genius. I think that's the best way to sum her & her business up.. BUT it was so much more than that. She renewed my love for posing. She encouraged me to push myself, to try different things, to get more authentic poses in less time. Talk about a good investment. 15 minutes for bride & groom portraits?! No problem.
There are SO many educating photographers out there.. Some of my absolute favorite resources are..

I'm here to encourage you to take a look at your business. Figure out a weak point and then dive into anything about that topic. It'll feel real good when you do.
